D.A. Alston was born in sunny San Diego and now resides in North Atlanta with her amazing husband. She brings a wealth of experience as an educator, having taught children of various age groups. D.A. is the talented author of three books, which include "The Royal Elite Squad" series and "Every Day It Rains". She has also spoken at numerous career expos, conducted numerous art classes, and organized a creative writing workshop for children to help them discover their unique voices.

When not engaging her creative side, she enjoys listening to great music, delving into a good book, and exploring her city.
